EXTREMIS – Athena Helmet

The most recent developments in materials technology propel the Athena helmet to unprecedented levels of weight-efficiency. Within its weight category, the Athena is the only ballistic helmet backface deformation (BFD) rated against the full suite of NIJ IIIA threats.

The EXTREMIS Athena Helmet is the culmination of everything we’ve learned from multiple years of testing and defeating a variety of threats at different weight categories. Rated to stop the full suite of NIJ IIIA threats with less than 24 millimeters maximum back-face deformation – the Athena is the lightest ballistic helmet at this performance tier.
